Ivar graduated from the Institute of Journalism and Communication at the University of Tartu and completed his national service at the Information Centre of the Estonian Defence Forces. His main task was to oversee the publication of the Sõdurileht newspaper. He has participated in the communication management of the annual military exercise Kevadtorm (Spring Storm) and Siil ("hedgehog") exercise several times. In addition to information management in the public sector, he has successfully promoted marketing messages of many companies. Ivar knows what a hashtag should be like and who are the social media influencers. Ivar has been working at Powerhouse since 2011. In his spare time, Ivar puts on his bright-colored foam rubber shoes, mowes grass and raises his daughters.
